Today, we will discuss how THEMIS 5.0 intends to reach out to the public, and spread its research and findings through:
Communication
Dissemination
Exploitation

Communication
Communication is how we work to promote THEMIS 5.0 to as wide a range of audiences as possible, both in the media and the general public. With the aim being to engage with the whole of society while also specifically focusing on particular audiences whose experiences, especially with Artificial Intelligence, intersect with the research of THEMIS 5.0. Additionally, the role of communication in the THEMIS 5.0 project is to demonstrate how EU funding is working towards tackling major societal challenges.
Dissemination
Dissemination is the publicization of project results to a wider audience through a range of mediums (such as this blog). The purpose of this is to ensure that results from the THEMIS 5.0 project are readily available and digestible, so that they may be widely known by relevant individuals and groups (whether that be the scientific community, public sector, commercial actors, professional organisations, policymakers) who can then employ our research into their own work.
Exploitation
Exploitation is the employment of the research and results during and following the end of THEMIS 5.0. This would not only be for commercial uses, but also the social benefit that can be derived from better policy formation, and the general tackling of important economic and social problems that may arise from AI.
